Holton 54, Baldwin 12
The Wildcats scored touchdowns on their first seven drives of the night to begin their 28th consecutive post-season and pitched a second half shutout while improving to 5-0 against Baldwin all-time. Holton didn't call a pass play all night while running for 430 yards including three touchdowns each from Korban Wilson and Alec Frazier.

Baldwin scored on their first and third possessions of the night to take an early 6-0 lead and then pull within 14-12 as the Bulldogs missed a kick and two-point-conversion. But after their touchdown midway through the second quarter, it was all Holton the rest of the night. Alec Frazier had TD runs of 15 and 31 yards in the second quarter before Landon Hernandez blocked a Baldwin punt and Alec scored for the third time in the period with a 12-yard run on the ensuing play to give Holton a 28-12 halftime advantage.
Korban Wilson capped an 11-play Holton drive to open the second half with a five-yard TD run and then after Cael Frazier made a big stop on 4th down and two for Baldwin in the redzone, Wilson took the Cats next offensive play 83 yards for another score to make it 42-12 entering the fourth quarter. Cael Frazier had a three-yard TD to start the fourth frame and then on the ensuing Holton kickoff, the Bulldogs fumbled and Jarett Abel delivered a scoop and score for a 17-yard touchdown to make it 54-12 with 8::55 to play in the game.
The Wildcats played without two starters on the offensive line but dominated in the trenches. Holton improved to 5-4 on the season and will travel to play at Frontenac (8-1) next week.
Baldwin capped their first winning season since 2017 with a record of 5-4 under first-year Coach Jeff Melcher. Bryis Alford ran for a team high 103 yards on 15 carries and was 15-27 passing for 142 yards scoring both Baldwin touchdowns on a nine-yard run and a 16 yard pass to Ethan Williams.
