Peru State shortstop Randy Santiesteban was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Baseball Player of the Week on Monday morning.

 Santiesteban won the Player of the Week award for the second time this season after another impressive week of play for the Bobcats. A sophomore from Hialeah, Fla., he batted .344 (11-of-32) with two doubles, a triple, two home runs, ten RBI and five runs scored as Peru State picked up five victories.  Santiesteban finished off a busy week with a three for five outing that included a double, triple, five RBI and a run scored in a 16-3 win over Benedictine.
