The Peru State Bobcat softball team gained their second split on the weekend as they met on the field with the Hastings College Broncos.

Hastings took the first game 8-3 while the 'Cats took the second game 5-2.

With the split in non-conference action, Peru State is now 11-19 overall.  The Broncos' record is now 14-6.

The Bobcats have another busy week, that is, if Mother Nature cooperates.

On Tuesday, Peru State travels to Olathe, Kan., to face Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) foe, MidAmerica Nazarene University.  The double header is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

Another HAAC opponent will be the visitors for Wednesday as Missouri Valley College comes to Peru for a double header beginning at 3 p.m.

On Saturday, the Bobcats will host Graceland University, again, in HAAC play.  The double header on the 13th begins at 2 p.m.

A non-conference double header will top off the week when Peru State travels to Omaha to face former conference rival, the College of St. Mary Flames.  Game time for Sunday is 12 noon for the double header action.
