With only little over three weeks left in regular season action of Legion baseball the postseason Zone tournament groupings have been announced. Zone tournaments will take place July 22nd-26th.

This year five of the seven NEK League legion teams will be all paired together in the same zone tournament in "AA" with the lone other NEK team in Atchison competing at the "AAA" level.

Last year's host of the state tournament Sabetha will host Zone one tournament in "AA" level of legion baseball with fellow NEK league teams in Doniphan County, Holton, Seneca and Hiawatha.

Other NEK team in "AA" Royal Valley (not listed on Zone sheet but are playing at Marysville) will be competing in Zone five tournament hosted by another area team in Marysville. Frankfort and Linn from will also be competing in the Marysville Zone. Oskaloosa legion team will play in Zone two at Ottawa.

For Atchison, they will compete in Zone 1 "AAA" tournament hosted in Leavenworth by Leavenworth Diamond Jaxx. Other teams competing in the Zone tournament are Leavenworth Gieger Ready Mix and Manhattan.
