Sabetha was the only Northeast Kansas League legion team in action on Tuesday night as they traveled to Falls City, NE for one senior legion contest, falling to Falls City 9-1 in six innings.

The first three innings proved to have plenty of opportunities for the Sabetha Raptors as they stranded eight guys in the three innings combined, managing only one run as they tried to take advantage of 10 free passes. Falls City didn't struggle producing offensive taking the early lead with a run in the first inning and behind their 14 hits cruised to the 9-1 win.

Logan Scheitel settled things down for Falls City in relief on the mound going three and two-thirds innings of no-hit ball, while striking out seven and keeping the ball in the infield after Sabetha had 10 free passes early in the game. For Sabetha their lone hit came by Brandon Poe as they stranded nine total base runners in the loss.

The loss pushes Sabetha to 7-21 on the season and they get back to action on Wednesday as they host Seneca for a League double header.
