JCN Boys Win Seventh Straight Game with Road Win at Troy

The Jefferson County North boys basketball team won their seventh straight game on Tuesday night as they picked up a key league win on the road at Troy 69-58. 

The Chargers (13-4, 5-1) would lead 17-13 after the first quarter and 39-27 at halftime. 

The lead was 54-41 going into the fourth quarter with the Trojans making a couple of pushes in the final frame, but JCN secured the victory getting some stops and knocking down some free throws towards the end of the game. 

JCN senior Chance Jenkins went off for 31 points and five rebounsd while finishing the game 10-of-13 at the free throw line while connecting on five three-pointers. Jenkins has scored 81 points over his last three games. 

The Chargers also got quality games from Rex Fuhrman who finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds while Isaac Laird finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. 

Troy (9-8, 4-1) finished the game with 17 turnovers and 4-of-12 at the free throw line. The Trojans were led by Henry Geiger with 17 points and seven rebounds. Caden Rosenberger hit five three-pointers and finished with 15 points, and Kaston Jasper chipped in with 11 points.
