It was beautiful weather on the golf course yesterday as Kanzaland area girls golfers from Jefferson West and Holton took to the course for the 4A state tournament at Hesston Golf Park.

Three top 20 finishers were snatched up by the Kanzaland area golfers as Jeff West top golfers on the season Ally West and Abbie Thelen registered a 90 on the day good for a tie for sixteenth place. The round of 90 was the eleventh best round on the day.

The other top 20 finish was grabbed by Kyrstie Miller as she tied for nineteenth with a round of 91, good for actually the twelfth best round on the day.

Tigers of Jefferson West competed as a team in the Class 4A competition finishing ninth place overall out of twelve teams with a team score of 416.
