Fourteen Area Athlete's Earn KVA All-State Volleyball Honors

Northeast Kansas yet again featured plenty of great high school volleyball action this year and athletes from the Twin Valley League, Big Seven League and Northeast Kansas League have been honored for their great seasons with All-State honors in their respective classifications. 

In Class 1A-DI six players from the TVL earned All-State honors this year and three are from the Centralia Panthers who finished State runner-up this year. Junior, Cassidy Haufler earned first team All-State honors, while sophomore, Katie Glatczak picked up second team honors and senior, Mayda Stallbaumer was named to All-State honorable mention. 

Clifton-Clyde Eagle senior, Elizabeth Nobert picked up first team All-State honors in 1A-DII, while Frankfort Wildcat freshman, Emilee Ebert and Hanover Wildcat junior, Katelyn Jueneman each were named to the All-State second team. 

Class 1A-DII All-State team features four area athletes and they all hail from the TVL with three from the State runner-up team in the Axtell Eagles. Senior, Kiersten Talbot earned first team honors, while fellow senior, Courtney Heinen picked up second team honors and senior, Taylor Feldkamp was named honorable mention All-State. Linn Bulldog senior, Hanna Bott was the lone other area player to earn All-State in 1A-DII and she picked up first team honors. 

Also in class 2A another TVL athlete earned All-State honors as Washington County Tiger senior, Courtney Moore picked up honorable mention honors. 

In Class 3A the lone NEKL volleyball athlete to earn All-State picked up honors as Maur Hill-Mount Academy Raven senior, Carly Taylor earned honorable mention honors. 

Class 4A-DII All-State team features two Big Seven League athlete's as Holton Wildcat senior, Megan Rhule earned second team honors and Jeff West Tiger senior, Bailey Harvey got the nod for honorable mention honors.
