Twin Valley League 8-Man Football All-League Honors Announced

The high school football season is behind us and All-League honors have been handed out the Twin Valley League has handed out the 8-man All-League honors after another highly competitive season of action. 

The Hanover Wildcats for the second straight year won the TVL 8-Man title finishing 4-0 in the League and 12-1 overall on the season finishing as State runner-up in 8-Man Division I for the second straight year. Will Bruna leads the All-League honors for the Wildcats after his record breaking season setting new 8-Man single season passing yards and passing touchdown records, he earned first team All-League at quarterback and on defense first team honors at linebacker. Trey Loshe also got the nod for first team All-League honors on both offense and defense at end and defensive back, while Paden Pralle was named first team All-League for the Wildcats on the defensive and offensive lines. Adam Zarybnikcy and Trevor Klipp each picked up first team All-League honors for Hanover at linebacker and defensive line, respectively. Jueneman added second team honors at defensive back and Matthew White grabbed second team honors on defense as an at large player. 

It was another run to Sub-State for the Axtell Eagles this football season as they returned to the 8-Man Division II Sub-State playoff round and finished 10-2 on the year, while going 3-1 in TVL play. Mitchell Kuckelman and Brice Koch each got the first team All-League nod on offense at offensive line and end, respectively, while Colton Buessing was named first team at linebacker and Nathan Porting first team on defense on the defensive line. Koch added second team honors for himself at defensive back, will Colton Buessing picked up second team honors at quarterback on offense and Porting was second team on the offensive line. Both Kaleb Buessing and Caleb Heiman each earned a pair of second team All-League honors coming at linebacker and runningback for Buessing and defensive back and offensive line for Heiman, while Adam Kuckelman was named second team All-League at end on offense. 

Frankfort Wildcats finished the season 5-4 overall and posted a winning record in TVL action going 3-2 in League play. Ryan Kraushaar earned first team All-League honors on both sides of the ball at end on offense and defensive back, too. Jase Suther and Jedd Rose each got the nod for first team honors on offense at runninback and offensive line, while Sheldon Parthemer was named first team at linebacker. Second team All-League honors went to Shay Horton for Frankfort at offensive line and Christian Jackson on the defensive line. 

Clifton-Clyde, Linn and Blue Valley-Randolph all finished the season 2-7 this year with the Eagles and Bulldogs each notching one League win this season. 

Linn had four guys earn second team All-League honors as Josh Scmitz picked up second team honors at both defensive line and offensive line, while Kalen Richardson earned second team honors on defense as an at large pick and also Evan Bott grabbed second team honors at runningback. 

Blue Valley's Zeb Huston notched first team honors along the offensive line, while getting second team honors on the defensive line. Trevor Schwerdt and Chase Carey each picked up second team honors at end on offense and linebacker, respectively.
