Onaga will be hosting a playoff game for the first time since 2004 and that is the last time Onaga won a playoff game (49-35 vs. Lebo).

Olpe has great wins on the season beating Jefferson County North and McLouth, both 2-1A playoff teams, and also a 3A playoff team in Wellsville.
This will be a game of ground and pound and see who can control the line of scrimmage as both teams like to run the ball. Onaga is lead by sophomore runningback, Michael Bliss and tight end, Thomas Eisenbarth who each have had stellar rushing games this season. For Olpe its Mitch Argabright and Issac Hall who both have 440+ yards rushing.

Jackson Heights at McLouth 7:00 PM Friday Listen Live
Two teams hungry for a playoff win meet in McLouth where the Cobras (6-3) are making their initial post-season appearance since 2006 and looking for their first playoff win since 2002. The Bulldogs, who are 8-1 with a lone 13-12 setback at Olpe this year have not been in the playoffs since a 10-1 campaign in 2005 and that was in Class 3A.
Although the DVL foes haven't played each other the past two years, they have split (2-2) their previous four meetings in games played 2006-2009 and all four decided by 10 points or less. McLouth tuned up for their first 2A Playoff run by whipping Immaculata 48-6 to complete a DVL South Division Championship for the second year in a row. Caldwell surprised many with their 50-36 win over previously unbeaten Waverly to advance on in the playoffs as they forced eight turnovers in the game and used their balanced rushing attack to notch the win. Quarterback, Darin Ward and backs, Jahue Arnett and Trent Kendrick lead the way for the Caldwell Bluejays.
Winner of this one plays the winner of the Colony-Crest versus Hanover game.
Colony-Crest at Hanover (3:00pm)
Like B&B, Hanover cruised past their opponent in round one of the playoffs ending their game at the half with a 48-0 win over a Chase team that had scored 60+ points their last three games. Wildcats saw Mark Zarybnicky find the endzone twice rushing, while Preston Jueneman added a rushing TD and pick six.
Hanover's opponent, can score too winning a shootout 66-50 over South Barber to advance on in the playoffs. Crest has a quarterback in Kyle Hammond who has thrown for close to 1,000 yards and rushed for well over 1,600 yards and 32 scores on the season. The Lancers have won five in a row and their three losses are to opponents with a combine record of 29-3.
Hanover's loss are to two teams with great records in B&B (double overtime) and Rock Hills, so this one looks to be a great game and could be a shootout as both teams like to score the points. Although Hanover's defense has been more stingy this season than that of Crest's (Hanover opp. ppg--15.2 to Crest opp. ppg--29.4).
Winner of this one plays the winner of the B&B versus Caldwell game.

The Redhawks flew to the wind on the back of one Denzel Chilcoat, as he carried the ball 36 time for 411 yards and also had an 84-yard kickoff return for one of his five touchdowns on Tuesday.
Hiawatha won't have an easy opponent come Saturday as they host the top team in the state in Silver Lake. Silver Lake cruised past St. Mary's in the first round of the playoff 46-6 and have a quite an great attack and solid team all around. Quarterback, Dailin Kruger leads the way for Silver Lake on offense with Peter Pfannesteil in the backfield also with 878 yards this year. Silver Lake is trying to make it 10 Class 3A Title Game appearance in the last 11 years and while they have tradition and intangibles on their side, they will be facing a much larger and fast opponent in Hiawatha.
This game is surely to be a physical one as both teams like to cause havoc along the defensive line and get into the backfield. Hiawatha is enjoy one of their best seasons as a team with more than 30 sacks and registered five versus Nemaha Valley, while Silver Lake has two guys with double figure sacks and two more with eight each. Both teams like to pass the football as Hiawatha Senior Brad Chilcoat has thrown for more than 1,500 yards with Conner Bigham the leading target and nearly 600 yards receiving. Parker Hasenkamp meanwhile is nearing in on a 1,000 yard rushing season to pace the Hawks on the ground.

Rossville at Sabetha (6:00pm)
It's been an emotional roller-coaster and bitter-sweet week for the Sabetha football team and community with the passing of team videographer Tim Edelman just before kickoff on Tuesday's Bi-District Playoff Game at Riley County. The Bluejays, in their fifth straight post-season, beat the Falcons 28-8 thanks in part to success of all four 4th down conversions as well as getting 4 takeaways on defense. Two of those turnovers came on interceptions in the endzone by senior Rob Nagely, a senior, who was filling in for sophomore starter Alex Edelman, son of Tim. McKenzie McAfee ran for 147 yards and 2 Bluejays scores in their first playoff win since 2008.
It was in 2008, that Sabetha last played Rossville, and beat the Bulldogs 22-15 to advance to sub-state.
