Jeff West Tigers boys golf team teed it up on Thursday at the Osage City Invite and put forth a strong performance earning third place out of seven teams in competition. 

Tigers posted a team score of 400 to finish third behind Burlington and Santa Fe Trail and two-strokes ahead of West Franklin who took fourth place with seven teams in action. 

Leading the way for the Tigers was the performance of Cooper Mickens who carded an 84 to take second place finishing just three strokes back of the top spot. An 89 on the day earned another Tiger a Top 10 finish as Preston Stanley earned seventh place. 

Finishing out the four-man team score for Jeff West was Riley Morrow and Dawson Steeby with rounds of 110 and 117, respectively. James Sayles and Joshua Murphree were both also in action for the Tigers posting rounds of 120 and 124. 

The season is set to continue for Jeff West on the links when they host a Big Seven League Quad on Monday, April 16th.
