Former Nemaha Valley Raider and Highland CC Scottie continues to shine on the volleyball court no matter where she is as she continues her volleyball career with Missouri Western University this year after transferring from Highland CC.

The junior has the Griffons at a 6-10 mark on the season and has been the lead gal on the team all year leading the team in multiple categories and at the top two in others. Erica is one of only three Griffons players to have played in all 63 sets played on the season, playing in all 16 matches and starting 15 of them.

Rottinghaus leads the team in kills on the year posting 190 in just 16 matches thus far this season good for a 3.02 kills per set average both easily leading the team (leads team in kills by 23). She also leads the team in aces with 26, 11 more than the second best mark on the team.

On the defensive side, Rottinghaus owns the second most digs on the team with 213, good for a 3.38 digs per set average, while adding 15 blocks on the season.

After a 2-6 start to the season the Missouri Western Griffons are .500 in their last eight with a 4-4 record, rotating wins and losses in those last eight contests. Coming off a loss Rottinghaus looks to help her team get to the win column again coming up on Tuesday (October 8th) when they host Emporia State University.
