Maur Hill-Mount Academy’s Emma Vice is off to an outstanding start to the 2025–2026 wrestling season, continuing to establish herself as one of the top competitors in the state. The sophomore remains undefeated at 13–0 and is coming off an impressive tournament championship this past weekend at Rossville, a highly competitive event that featured more than 20 teams.

Vice’s success this season builds on an exceptional freshman campaign. Last year, she posted a remarkable 42–4 record and capped off her season with a fifth-place finish at the State Tournament. Her consistency and poise on the mat have been evident well beyond the high school level.

Emma has been wrestling since the age of eight and brings a wealth of experience to every match. During her youth wrestling career, she was a two-time Kids State Champion and placed at the Kids State Tournament every year she competed, laying a strong foundation for her continued success.

Now in her sophomore season, Vice is ranked No. 4 at 125 pounds by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association, a testament to her hard work, dedication, and elite skill set. With her undefeated start and championship momentum, Emma Vice is proving to be a dominant force this season and a key leader for Maur Hill-Mount Academy wrestling.
