Falls City Sacred Heart Irish, Henry Arnold Sprinting to Success in Track
Henry Arnold

Bouncing back from an injury is always tough but Falls City Sacred Heart Irish junior, Henry Arnold is doing quite well at that. After breaking his leg during the football season Arnold returned to sports action late in the basketball season and now is hitting his stride in track action for the Irish.

Arnold is sprinting to success on the track for the Irish and last week put together a strong performance, individually and with his teammates. The junior raced his way to gold in the 200 and 400 meter dashes at both the MUDECAS and Pioneer Conference meets, while also partnering with three other Irish runners to win the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay competitions at both events, also.

The Irish boys finished second place as a team at both the MUDECAS and Pioneer Conference meet, only nine and 10 points off first place each time.

On the year Arnold and his teammates are undefeated in the 4x100 meter relay, while only have been beaten once in the 4x400 meter relay as they continue to sprint past the competition.

The track season rolls on the Irish and Arnold along with his teammates in the relays look to continue their success and compete at the State level this year in Nebraska.
