Jefferson County North Charger, Jacee Kramer Lights Up the Scoreboard
Jacee Kramer

Don’t blink when you’re watching Jefferson County North Charger junior, Jacee Kramer because if you do she could have double figure points to 20 or 30 points just like that before you know it. Scoring hasn’t been a problem for the junior all season and recently she’s registered perhaps her best stretch of games.

The Lady Chargers suited up last week for their home Invitational looking to win it for the fifth straight year and that they did dispatching McLouth in the first round (94-17), beating Perry Lecompton in the semifinals (55-35) and taking down the ACCHS Tigers for the championship (59-35) to win the JCN Invite for the fifth straight time.

To say Jacee Kramer was a key part of the Chargers Invitational win is an obvious statement, but it’s the impressive way she was a part of the tournament win that will catch your eye. Jacee went off in the tournament to the tune of 90 total points over three games good for a 30 point average per game and 43.3% of the Chargers points scored in the tournament.

Kramer opened the tournament with her best performance of the year pouring out 35 points against McLouth and scoring her 1,000th career point in the process. In the semifinals it was 25 points against Perry Lecompton in the win, before going off for 30 points against ACCHS in the championship game.

Kramer scoring barrage hasn’t been just the last three games, as she is averaging 27.4 points per game over the last seven contests with 22, 24, 25 and 31 point performances in the four games leading up to the tournament.
