Daniel Little

The Jackson Heights track teams opened the 2021 season last week competing at the Holton Invitational and the Cobras could not have asked for a better start from Daniel Little who captured three event wins on the day.

The senior was dominant in each victory as he captured gold in the 800, 1600 and 3200-meter runs winning each race by over 10 seconds.

This comes after Little shined on the cross-country circuit this past fall where he claimed sixth place at the 1A State Meet to help lead the Cobras to a 10th place team finish.

That followed a dominant junior season for Little who took fourth at State Cross Country before having the spring sports season canceled last year due to COVID-19.

Little will look to continue his strong start to the season and show what he can do on the track and repeat his success as a cross country runner at Jackson Heights.
