Wetmore senior Braden Henry has been fantastic all season and is putting together a First Team All-League type of season for the Cardinals basketball team.
Last week, Wetmore tallied wins over Troy and Linn. Against Troy, Braden poured in 22 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Friday at Linn, Braden added a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds along with three assists and two steals.
The Cardinals have won six straight games and are 12-6 overall and 8-4 in TVL play which is good for third in the standings behind only Hanover and Troy.
This season, Braden is averaging nearly 19 points and eight rebounds per game. He eclipsed 1,000 career points earlier this season and holds the school record for free throw’s made in a season.
Braden was Second Team All-League last season as a junior.
