Hajek Putting Up Video Game Numbers for 4-0 Nemaha Central

The Thunder football team continues to be one of the more dominant teams in the state as they’re coming off a 78-0 win at Horton last Friday to improve to 4-0.

Cooper Hajek dominated once again as he’s been one of the best running backs in the state.

On Friday, Cooper tallied four carries for 128 yards and four touchdowns. On the season, Cooper is averaging 190 rushing yards per game and has already scored 16 touchdowns in the first four games.

Defensively he’s 20 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss and one sack.

Last season as a junior, Cooper ran for over 600 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging over eight yards per carry helping the Thunder to a 7-3 record.

This season, Nemaha Central is considered one of the best teams in Class 2A. K-Preps has them ranked #2 behind only Southeast of Saline was KSHSAA Covered have the Thunder ranked #1.
