Anna Patz

It’s been a great start to the 2022-2023 season for McLouth wrestler Anna Patz. The junior is currently ranked #2 overall in 4-1A at 130 and is 12-1 to start the season.

Anna’s lone loss so far this season was to the #3 ranked wrestler in 5-6A.

Anna has been wrestling since 2018. Last year during her sophomore season, she was a Regional Champion and placed fourth at State at 126 finishing with a record of 25-3. After that season, she took first place in the USAWKS State Tournament and then she took eighth place in the USA Wrestling Girls Folkstyle National Tournament.

This is only the second season for the girls wrestling program at McLouth. Anna’s dad TJ is the head coach, and they were both integral parts in getting that program started at McLouth.
