Taylor Weishaar

Riverside’s Taylor Weishaar posted a strong State Tournament this past week as the Cyclones finished runner-up in Class 2A for a second straight season.

They finished 23-3 and lost to Wichita Independent in the title game.

Taylor posted double-doubles in all three tournament games. She posted 15 points and 13 rebounds against Hoxie, 19 points and 12 rebounds against Valley Heights, and 24 points and 13 rebounds against Independent.

For the season, Taylor averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds per game. She was named Big 7 All-League and is the reigning Class 2A Player of the Year.

Taylor will continue her academic and athletic career at Central Missouri.
